Who is MasterMinds Junior?

MasterMinds Junior is an organization that provides Learning Management System (software) services that has been purchased/provided by your school, or teacher to provide you with online learning tools. You can access this on your computer, mobile phone, or tablet.
 

What information do we collect and where does it come from?

 

MasterMinds Junior - LMS receives information about students from a few different sources which are all related to your school’s use of MasterMinds Junior - LMS. It receives information directly from your school when your school sends MasterMinds Junior information to create your user account. This can include: your name, email address, grade/level, and school name, date of birth (if provided by your school), gender preference, language selection, and country. This is considered “personal information”.
 

MasterMinds Junior - LMS does not receive or hold information from you when you participate in your classes. This can include class assignments, test & quiz responses, discussion group comments, homework assignments, and conversations with teachers and other students. MasterMinds Junior – LMS does not receives information from your teachers such as grades for your assignments and tests, or when your teacher sends you messages.
 

Who else has access to your information?

 

MasterMinds Junior – LMS only uses your information to provide our LMS service to you and your school. We do not sell your information to other companies. We do not use your information to advertise to you. Your user information is accessible to your school, teachers, and administrators. Your submitted content information (for example: assignments, projects, discussion group content) is accessible only by your teachers and approved institutional administrators. Your scores and grades are accessible by your teachers and approved school officials.

What about other tools that are connected through our MasterMinds Junior – LMS?

 

Your school or teacher may choose to connect their use of MasterMinds Junior – LMS to other tools or services, such as video conferencing system, in order to support teaching and learning. In these cases, your school or teacher may decide if any information needs to be exchanged with MasterMinds Junior.

 

Cookies in MasterMinds Junior – LMS

If your account was set up by your school, we need permission from your school/ institution to delete your account and data since we don’t own any of your data. To delete or block an account or information – only authorized personnel can send request to MasterMinds Junior

We encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed about our privacy practices, as we may review and update our processes from time to time. If we make a change that, in our sole discretion, we will notify you through by posting a notification on our website, or as required by law. Unless otherwise stated, changes to this Privacy Policy will take effect immediately as of the date it is posted.
